Inspiring Bogger

I was utterly blown away by Rebel for adding me to her list of inspiring bloggers. I have not been doing this for very long and was not expecting to be noticed in such a large field. However, Rebel is such a lovely lady and as she discovered last week the sex blogging field can be a very soft place to land when things go wrong. I am delighted to be part of it.

The rules are:
1) Display the award logo on your blog
2) Link back to the person who nominated you.
3) State 7 things about yourself.
4) Nominate 15 other blogs and link them.
5) Notify those bloggers of their nomination and the award's requirements.

Seven things about me...hmmmm

1) I like science programmes on TV.
2) I have a filthy, throaty laugh that is infectious and very loud.
3) I have a vast collection of inappropriate jokes that I tell at work.
4) I am one of those rare women who really like their bum. It is rather nice and shapely.
5) Roquefort cheese is my all time favourite (should you ever meet me in person and want to buy me some).
6) I used to smoke but I gave up nearly 15 years ago.
7) I find people fascinating, kind of like how Dr Who loves human beings, I love people plain and simple.

The blogs that I want to nominate:

I didn't want my nominees to only be sexual. Whilst I write about sex I think that there is more in life and I wanted to capture some of the more interesting blogs that I read. These are in no particular order other than the way that they fell out of my head.

I stumbled upon Molly's blog trying to find a place for a fellow writer work. Initially I found the images hard to adjust to but I saw the most beautiful love story emerge. Molly is wonderful, smart and caring. She does so many things to positively promote sexuality of all forms, particularly women accepting themselves. The Pussy Pride Project is a personal favourite of mine @mollysdailykiss

Rebel is one of the most caring ladies that I know. It has been amazing to watch her journey of self discovery with her husband. I find her to be nurturing and supportive as well as hosting the wonderful Wicked Wednesday. @RebelsNotes

Blogging under the title of My Dissolute Life, NLikes is a man who is exploring his sexuality whilst promoting and helping others a truly interesting blog and a fascinating look into the male mind. @nlikes

Rose is another kind hearted gregarious woman who blogs about her sexual explorations She has a deft touch with the written word and some pretty awesome images to boot. @sexwithrose

Frankie is a smart witty woman/people who enchant me daily. They write about mental health amongst other things. There is never the same blog twice. Funny, witty, challenging, caring but most of all superbly written pieces. @JustCallMeFrank

A big believer in gonzo journalism, this is a visual blog full of stunning images that make you think and enthral you. @GonzoPhil

Relatively new to blogging Clive writes about his journey with depression. However, it is interesting, upbeat and very funny. A delight to read. @CliveChip

THIS man inspires my fiction/erotica writing. His writing style has a deftness and lightness of touch that I can only hope to reach. When he likes my writing it makes me feel all humble inside. A really rather unique man. @GuyLeJeune

For those of you who don't know I live graphic art and Ben's drawings are scary, creepy, weird, but always brilliant. @arteechoke

I love the humour and the humanity in this blog. The images are thought provoking and can be so humerus. @KaziGrrl

When ever I see this blog, I am never sure what I am going to get. It usually makes me think and keeps me on the edge of my seat trying to work out the twists and turns before they happen (I usually fail to spot them, which is why I love it) @stranded_it_to

Intelligent, wonderful and a delight to read, Muse enchants me with her words. Perhaps her and Guy were separated at birth with the level of skill that they both have with English. @curiousmuse1

It was Pea that encouraged my to write, well her and a few others but it was her words that stuck in my head. Thank you Pea. I find her writing to be sensitive and tender and completely wonderful. @PlumptiousPea

An intelligent and articulate man who is exploring his sexuality. All of which shines through in his writing. @DeepThought69

A new blog to me but one I find myself drawn back to. Articulate and elegant in his prose. One I am looking forward to reading more of. @ManwitDog

A fairly eclectic mix I think you will agree. Go read, check them out. Follow them on twitter (or not) but now you know of their existence. All wonderful people in their own rights.

  2. Dear Rachel,

Crumbs, not only do I find Rebel nominating me for this wonderful thing, but, you too!

I am SO very glad that my words of encouragement & the way I felt about your writing all those months ago, spurred you on even more determinedly. I am so proud of that.

Thank you, Rachel, thankyou for liking what I do with all of my heart. As I mentioned to Rebel, I will enjoy the journey of growth & learning & having lovely people like you in the blogging/writing community.

    Pea ~x~
